current event

A current event that i am writing about is the game yesterday between nc state and maryland. It started out very close in the begining but state took a 6 point lead at half time. During the second half of the game, nc state increased their lead to 20. But with about five minutes to go, the maryland team came storming back trying to comeback and pull off the upset, and with about a minute to go state was only leading by 6 points again. But nc state held on til the end and won the game! The final score was 79-74.

Passing Exams

I plan on passing exams by studying each night before hand several times so I will have a better chance of getting a higher grade for each one. I also plan to go to bed a little eariler the night before the exam, so I will be well rested and ready for it. And last I will eat breakfast to give myself plenty of energy for the exam.

My 2011 year

1. This year was a pretty decent year. My grades have seriously improved. Also I have made many new friends through high school. And athleticly I made the high school jv soccer team and also made a casl challenge team. Those are some of the good things that happend to me in 2011.
2. A few other things are, I found interest in literature, and started writing a book. In addition to writing the book, i have written many poems as well. And the final good thing is that i finally got my first girlfriend, which is the best accomplishment i had done during 2011. So overall, 2011 was a great year.

mistakes

We all make mistakes. Some are worse than others but they are still mistakes. It is only natural to make mistakes because humans are not perfect and dont know better otherwise unless they are taught what is right and what is wrong. Even if someone who is already taught makes a mistake, then the best thing that they can do is to learn from it and not do it again. For example when i was a kid i had went over to a friends house and told my parents id be back in an hour, i acctually showed up three hours later because i forgot i had given my parents a time. Well my parents were yelling at me for a good fifthteen minutes before i could get a chance to apologize. So i lerned from the mistake to never be late if you anounce when you're going to be back from somewhere, and i never made the mistake again. I hope this has described how if you make mistakes you should learn from them and not repeat them.

holiday traditions

Holiday traditions are an essiential part of christmas joy and exicitement. They are fun to participate in and bring familys together during the holidays. Basic traditions would be things like decorating or baking christmas cookies which is what most familes would do. But some famliys have there own traditions like turkey eating contests and three legged races in the snow, which are a little different but can still be fun and enjoyable. Basically the point of holiday traditions are to have a good time with family and friends while enjoying the holidays. Including the couple things I listed, there are many more traditions which are also fun and enjoyible. In fact some people create a new one each year just for the fun of it. I hope you start a holiday tradition as well if you dont already have a few of your own.
